The Power of Togetherness

Welcome back and Happy Friday!

Last week, we started our togetherness journey through Scripture by diving into the many “one another” verses. We discussed the verses focusing on church unity last Friday, and today we’ll dial in on the topic of love.

One third of all the one another commands focus on love.

  1. Love one another (John 13:34; John 15:12 & 17; Romans 13:8; 1 Thess. 3:12; 1 Thess. 4:9; 1 Peter 1:22; 1 John 3:11; 1 John 4:7 & 11; 2 John 5)

  2. Through love, serve one another (Galatians 5:13)

  3. Tolerate one another in love (Eph. 4:2)

  4. Greet one another with a kiss of love (1 Peter 5:14)

  5. Be devoted to one another in love (Romans 12:10)

Which of these “one anothers” stands out to you? Any particular one you’re working on, or struggle with? Do you see one the church as a whole needs to strive towards?
