Happy Friday and welcome back!
Although it can be degrading to be called a sheep, there are great benefits to being a sheep and admirable traits sheep exhibit.

Sheep:
-are extremely loyal
-love their shepherd
-follow the shepherd when he calls
Shepherds aren’t important to many people, but to the sheep, there is no one more important!
In Luke 15, Jesus is speaking to Pharisees and gives three parables of the joy felt when discovering something lost. The first example is that of a shepherd who leaves his flock of 99 to find the one lost sheep. In verse 6, He says, “And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’”
Isn’t it comforting to know that if a good shepherd would, without hesitation, leave his flock of 99 to find the 1 missing, that our Chief Shepherd would do the same for us?
