Happy Friday!

God is in the small things we have discovered!
Today we’re looking at God’s mighty power through a small stone, a river, and a linen belt.
Â
1.     A small stone
In 1 Samuel 17, David gathered five small stones and his sling slot before facing off with the Philistine giant, Goliath. All it took was one stone to the forehead and the 9-foot giant fell to his death. By a small shepherd boy? Yes, no doubt David’s God had accomplished the victory through his willing servant.
2.     A river
In 2 Kings 5:9-14, Elisha commanded the proud army commander, Naaman, to dip in the Jordan river seven times and be healed of leprosy. But Naaman went away angry. Finally, he was obedient to Elisha’s word and he was healed!
3.     A linen belt
In Jeremiah 13:1-11, God commanded Jeremiah to buy a linen belt and hide it in a rock. The belt is ruined, giving Jeremiah a picture of the destructive pride of Judah and the Israelites. The linen belt became an object lesson of God’s wrath.
