Ephesians 2:13-14

We could spend a month-long series just unpacking this verse. But here's a quick thought...

By His flesh, by His death on the cross and His resurrection, Jesus has dismantled the wall separating us from God the Father. We are no longer far away, but near. How comforting? Peace is a person. It's Jesus Himself. He is our peace, and He promises to never leave us or forsake us. Regardless of our circumstances today, we can take great comfort in all Jesus accomplished for us on the cross. It may be Tuesday, but the tomb is still empty!
