Whatever--whatever means everything. Whatever it is we're doing we work as for the Lord, not for others. And we give it our all. We work "heartily." Not to please anyone but the Lord. Not to win the favor or applause of men. God isn't after our work, He wants our heart and our obedience above all (Psalms 51:16-17; I Samuel 15:22)And He shows no favoritism (Romans 2:11). He's a good Father. A perfect Father. How freeing is that?
