We are a Divine work of art

“We are, not metaphorically but in very truth, a Divine work of art, something that God is making, and therefore something with which He will not be satisfied until it has a certain character… In the same way, it is natural for us to wish that God had designed for us a less glorious and less arduous destiny; but then we are wishing not for more love but for less.” C.S. Aren’t we thankful for a God who does not leave us as we are, but through his incomprehensible love and wisdom, He uses every good and painful thing in our lives (Rom. 8:28) to form us into the image of Christ. We are incomplete, but not forever! Philippians 1:6 tells us, "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."
